The ‘Love is a Decision’ programme is presented in six sessions over a period of two full Sundays in November. The exercises reflect theories/models in family culture, personality development and relationship dynamics, goal setting, intimate communication and problem solving. The lived Sacrament of Marriage is woven into the activities to create a contemporary Christian understanding of the marriage relationship and its uniqueness to each couple.

The course gives couples the time they need to cover topics they may not have previously discussed. The course is open to couples of all faiths and beliefs.

When you register for the “Love is a Decision” face to face course, you are automatically registered for the Commit Questionnaire introductory programme. An Archdiocesan Marriage Educator will contact you directly to complete the Commit course before you attend the face to face group course “Love is a Decision”.

The Commit and Love is a Decision programme is designed to be completed one after the other and are held in person in Wellington. By doing both of these courses, couples are involved in a comprehensive package in order to prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage, with the aim being to support you in making your marriage the best possible.

The total cost is $130.00 per couple.
