Worldwide Marriage Encounter, the largest pro-marriage organisation in the world, will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year at its June 22‒24 convention in Chicago.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter is also celebrating 40 years in New Zealand this year by offering a weekend for married couples, 11‒12 August 2018, in Palmerston North. The emphasis will be on communication between husbands and wives to spend time together away from the distractions of everyday life in an environment to focus on each other and their relationship and with God.
The weekend will also offer priests who are attending the opportunity to focus on their relationship with their people.
Marriage Encounter is supported by the Pope Francis and the Bishops of New Zealand. Since Marriage Encounter was established in New Zealand, many thousands of couples have experienced, and benefited from a Marriage Encounter weekend.
