The Compassion Soup Kitchen’s Annual Street Appeal will be running on Friday 14 June 2019, with collection sites across the Wellington region. This is the Soup Kitchen’s biggest fundraiser and the support of the Wellington community for the past 118 years allows its doors to continue to be open to serve our community. The Compassion Soup Kitchen has been operating in Wellington since 1901, serving breakfast and dinner six days a week, as well as offering activities such as fishing, gardening and creative writing through He Rākau Koikoi – Purposeful Activities project. Everyone is welcome in the community regardless of circumstances.
