The Meri Hōhepa Suzanne Aubert Tertiary Scholarship has honoured three students with support for their studies in 2025. The award is a one-off grant of $3,000 offered to second-year students, or students in above years who are not eligible for ‘Fees free’ government support for their Tertiary Studies in 2025. The Sisters express their gratitude to the Mother Aubert Home of Compassion Trust Board for making this award possible. The Sisters of Compassion extend their congratulations to the three students on their successful applications.

Rose Powell
Rose Powell is a student at Victoria University of Wellington, studying in 2025 for a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History and Religious Studies, with a gaol towards teaching.

Giovanni Noaro
Giovanni Noaro is a student of Bachelor of Aviation (Air Transport Pilot) at Massey University, completing his second year in 2025.

Katharina Bestall
Katie Bestall is a student at the Western Institute of Technology in New Plymouth, completing her final year of a Bachelor of Nursing in 2025.
