Ngā Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand celebrated the First Profession of Sister Lyra Manalo on Saturday 12 March, with a Eucharist at St Teresa’s Pro Cathedral in Karori, Wellington.
Cardinal John Dew was the presider.
‘We hold Lyra in prayer and we congratulate her on her profession of vows for three years,’ said Raylene Dwyer rsm.
Ngā Whaea Atawahi o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand have warmly welcomed Lyra as a vowed member of the Congregation.
