In February, Louise Lloyd Young Church Coordinator travelled to Nelson to coordinate a Young Catholic Leaders (YCL) session with the Year 13 Student Leadership Team at Garin College.
In December last year, ten students from the student leadership team at Garin College attended the Archdiocesan YCL Camp in Ōtaki. The ten student leaders who attended last years camp, took what they learnt and jointly led a YCL session with the remaining 30 student leaders within their school, with Louise running activities and prayers in smaller groups. This was held at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church Motueka.
“It was such an uplifting time. The student leaders did an amazing job, and it is so wonderful to be able to connect with our young Catholic leaders in the South Island” Louise Lloyd shared.
