Tēnā tātou, tēnā tātou, tēnā tātou katoa.
Tēnā tātou katoa,
My name is Reuben Norris. Whilst I have recently moved from Brisbane, Australia, I was born in Perth, Western Australia and have lived there for most of my life. I am first generation Australian with my parents from Malaysia and Myanmar emigrating to Australia in the late 1960s.
I am a practising Catholic , and a member of the Te Awakairangi Catholic Parish in Lower Hutt and come from a strong Catholic upbringing, attending St Norbert College in Perth, and Notre Dame University, Fremantle with a Graduate Diploma of Education. I also have a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Curtin University, Perth.
Having worked in various Catholic organisations ranging from teaching in Western Australian Catholic schools, to financial administration and leadership roles in Catholic Education systems across Australia, working now for the Archdiocese is like coming home.
I have moved over to Wellington to join my partner in January this year who is a Wellington local and am really enjoying the change of lifestyle Aotearoa brings. I am looking forward to travelling around this amazing motu in all sorts of weather!
It is a great privilege to be serving Archbishop Paul and the people in the Archdiocese of Wellington in the role of General Manager.
Ngā manaakitanga
