An important message from Archbishop Paul Martin about Good Friday:
I have received a letter from Cardinal Gugerotti, who is the Prefect of the Dicastery for Eastern Churches. His letter relates to the situation in the Holy Land and the plight of Christians there, and the challenges for the Holy Places.
As you can imagine, things are very tough at this time. His letter encourages us to promote the collection for the Holy Places, which is on Good Friday.
I know we are being asked to support many different causes. But this is a very important one. It is a practical expression of our commitment to our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land.
