Christmas is a time for family and those of us lucky enough to have family to spend Christmas with look forward to this time and to exchanging gifts. Unfortunately there are always those who have neither family nor gifts. Many of Catholic Social Services clients fit into this category.
During the year we work with many individuals and families encouraging and helping them to make their lives better. At the end of the year it is gratifying to receive gifts and goodies which we can hand out to our clients who otherwise would go without. Over the past few years St Teresa’s Parish, Karori, has made this possible.
We wish we could take those who give each year with us when we deliver the gifts so you could see how much happiness they bring.
Instead we hope you will accept a heartfelt thanks on behalf of those people from all the staff at Catholic Social Services for helping us make many people’s Christmas a happy one.
