Bible Society New Zealand has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Neels Janse van Rensburg. Neels will take over from on 1 April from Francis Burdett who is retiring after nine years.
Neels obtained his Licentiate in Theology (LTH) in 2002 and Bachelor in Ministry in 2006 and has been involved in Christian ministry for 27 years. He has more than 18 years’ operational and management experience.
Originally from South Africa, Neels and wife Jeanine with their two daughters, came to live in New Zealand in 2010. He joined Bible Society in 2013. Neels also ministers as a co-pastor for a North Shore, Auckland church
